    Default Alabama Crappie Camp! 04/11/2015

    Wind Creek state park. Lake Martin, Al Slabfest
    April 9-11, 2015. Everyone invited.
    Come join in for a Crappie extravaganza. Meet and greet fellow Crappie.com members and others obsessed with Crappie fishing. Arrive on Thursday or Friday and start fishing. In past slabfest/camps group works together to locate the fish and patterns. We share info to help others catch fish so all enjoy. The idea is for everyone catch fish.
    Friday night we have a hot dog, drink and chips supper. We have some great anglers lined up for seminars at the supper.
    Saturday morning is a low entry fee tournament. Weigh in will be at 1:30pm. We will then award prizes. Bring a fillet knife as we will fry the fish from our catches for dinner. We have a few more excellent anglers to speak to us about different techniques. We will also have some helpful fishing games to try.
    Some of the speakers will be;
    Phillip Shadlinger on river lake fishing
    Earl Kitchens- long line trolling
    Richard Malcolm- dock shooting-
    Brian Cooper- docks and brushpiles
    Roger MILBY- Tightline/spiderrigging.

    Should be a great weekend. The park is mailing me the forms and all is a done deal.
    Promoting Crappie fishing is what I try to do.

    This will be the first time I have fished with water in the lake. I only go there in winter.

    Want to be clear,
    You DO NOT have to fish in tournament to attend. If you want to just show up for the fellowship you are welcome and wanted.

    I can't edit but Brian Cooper can't speak to us on finding and fishing brushpiles. Sorry.
