Been a couple of years ago but me or my brother one caught a yellow perch in Cotaco Creek. That is the only one I have ever seen caught in Wheeler, but I know they are in Wheeler.

They are in Guntersville too. Catch on every now and then, but best time has been when bream fishing beds. Go figure?

My daughter and I caught one this spring in Limestone Bay while spider rigging.

I actually have caught quite a few perch while trolling in shallow water and a few tightlining. The size however has been on the smaller size.
