Good report, I am glad someone is able to go catch a few.
Got on the water this morning by 6:30 and drug cranks in the Civic Center slough. Caught two crappie and eight bass. Passed and spoke to Crappieflopper in the same area. Went down to Clear Creek and fished from the opening at the main river to back to the camp. Manage two more crappie and another eleven bass. Concentrated on water from 18' - 30'. Finally had enough heat and wind/waves and put her on the trailer at 1:30. Best fish was a big white that would go two pounds. Other three were solid 12" fish. Got to spend more time on the water to figure this draggin cranks game. Liked the way the new Okumas performed. Thanks Callshy.

Have not been in 4 weeks. In the last 2 months daughter has had a total knee replacement and wife has had 2 surgeries. Everyone seems to be getting better now. Have also been doing lots of work around the house and I need a break. Looks like it will be Friday or after before I can go. Logan Martin is so loaded with them green fish its hard to keep them off the hook to catch a crappie sometimes. I wish more folks would keep and eat them to get them out of there. Hope you keep going and get the crankbait thing figured out. How was the boat traffic over there?

Other than CrappieFlopper, I didn't see but two bass boats all day. There were a couple of jet skis out and one ski boat but they were all very courteous and kept a good distance. I believe next time I will keep those green fish and donate to my Dads neighborhood fish fry gang. I knew that your daughter was having the knee replacement but didn't know the missus was having surgery. Glad to here everyone ids doing well. Dr. Paul is prescribing some fishing therapy for Roger stat.
PW1 How much weigh were you using to push with I was using 3oz. and it didn't seem like enough, Caught all of my fish on Blue and chrome and Tenn shad arkie crankbaits

I was actually pulling 300 Series Bandits and using the Bandit playbook. I had my left side set at 60', 80', & 100' and 110' & 130' on the right side pulling between 1.5 - 2.5 mph on 10lb Vicious Panfish Hi-Viz Yellow. If all was correct the 80' pole should have been running at 13-14' deep and that is the pole that saw the most action. I ran the following colors: Chartruse/Black Stripe, Cranberry, Hotty Totty, Orange Crush, Fried Squash, And Black.
Great report, keep after them. Hopefully we'll all figure this crankbait thing out.
Sounds like your doing a fine job catching them.
