    Default Tuseday report

fished from 1 to 4 p.m caught crappie all day but only 6 would messure .Lot's of stripe ,Bass, Blue gills and 6lb cat fish. Blue ice and pearl white worked great and minnows fished 2 feet off the bottom and 12 foot of water. Could have filled up a basket of gills and shell crackers they were feeding heavy.

The North Salty area has been producing fish but the crappie are a year away from being legal, next year is looking good. I went back today caught bigger fish but only 12 keepers all 10 to 12 inches lots of throw backs .The stripe were mixed in heavy with the dink crappies.. The big ones were caught on minnows a foot or two off the bottom .The jig bite was great but produced smaller fish.

alabamaal, I was hoping the bigger fish would move in but it looks like they have not. I have been catching a lot of small ones there for a few weeks now. I think my best day was 20 keepers and one day me and a friend had 31. I have not been in about 2 weeks though. I hope it is not going to be that way all season but it may very well be because last year I pulled some nice ones outta there.
