I don't know how there are any shad left to be near the creek channels as every bridge right now at Gville has side to side clouds of shad from finger size down to about an inch. Probably the most shad hatch I have seen in years on the big G.As to catching a Crappie from under them you need it to be dark and hope a white stripe doesn't beat them to the jig!!! . One question on for you crank pullers are you pulling bandits and if so what size?? a 300 series 2in?? I ask this because you are catching the fish it seems in water deeper than they say they will run .Maybe you are using down riggers (grin)
