Default Guntersville longlining and night fishing

It is still pretty good on gville right now. Longlined this afternoon for a couple hours and ended up with 32 keepers. Colors and baits (slab bandits, big bite , and lake fork) varied but purple/chart was hard to beat. 10'-12' deep water. Mixture of blacks and whites and 11-13". Only 3 over 13".

Fished last night for about 3.5-4 hrs and had 39 keepers, anchored with minnows.

Thanks. Went back this morning and caught 57 over 10" and kept 44 over 11". Think I will head back this afternoon for some catch and release.

Right about .9-1.0 mph, 1/16 ounce with about 100-120' of line out, Browns Creek.

Went back yesterday afternoon for 1.5 hours, will not mention how many we caught but they were on fire and all released. Best quality/quantity/time trip I think I have ever had. They will probably be there for the next couple of days but will be gone after that I think.

If you have some afternoon time you need to get over there at get after them. As long as the floating grass cooperates, you can load the boat. It was aggravating yesterday morning but that afternoon there was very little in the area.
