are they 2 piece? telescopic? eyes and reelholder or just a pole?
Has anyone tried the 10' crappie pole from Academy that they sell for $14.99 wondering if anyone has a comparison between it and the B&M pole. I am wanting to purchase a pole or 2 and wondering which one people on her would recommend.
Thanks,

Fished with them last week. Good for the money.
flintcreek,
I'm heading to Lily Pond this morning, but waiting for the rain to end. I'll go by and take a look, I'm always looking for a good 10', two piece ultralite rod.
They are 10" 2 piece rods with spinning rod type handle and holder along with eyes. They look like a good deal to me. I am going to have to pick up 1 to try. Thanks Jigmaster for the input.

flintcreek,
I looked at the poles today. They're a little stiff for my taste but would work fine in a rod holder for spider rigging or long lining. The caution I have is they're a little heavy. If you hold the rod straight out you can feel the additional weight towards the tip. If your jiggin brush and laydowns where you're moving that rod tip up and down you'll be tired long before the day is over. Just my 2 cents.
I noticed they were a little heavy on the end also, but don't really know about jiggin brush and laydowns since I am just really learning to fish for crappie. But in any sort of fishing I know the weight adds up over time, the older I get the more I realize it. I thought I would pick up one or 2 for spider rigging in the next week or so think they are probably still a good deal for a beginner. I can maybe ask for a couple of B&M poles for Christmas. Thanks for the opinion and help.

I have 6 of them that I have fished for the last year, they are heavy but tough & work well for spider rigging. I do use another for jigging treetops etc.
i have been looking for something like that, wonder how they would do pulling small cranks
