    My dad caught what surely must have been a record for 3 crappie combined one day. They weighed well over 11lbs. For those of you like myself that have trouble with math, that's nearly 4lbs each (I used a calculator). He's also caught a couple over 4lbs on separate occasions.

    I had a big crappie on the other day. I know it had to be over 6 lbs because it broke my 6 lb line. So I know they are out there. I been broke off more that once.

    cnorf, That had to be a 7 or 8 pound-er to break that rod.

    Fisherman here on this forum never lie about their catch or their honey holes, most of them simply present plausible deviations from the truth. Some of them, well lets just say that their deviations are a might IMplausible. LOLOLOL
