Any hints for logan martin for 03/01?

I'm going to put my boat in the water for the first time this year. I will put in at lakeside. Any helpful hints (for crappie)?

I put in at Lakeside at 7:00 am. There were a lot of other people there too. A lot of the boats were crappie boats. The water temp at cropwell creek was between 50 and 51. I fished just north of there in some coves and the temps were about 52 degrees. I finished up in Clear Creek and the temps were 54 to 55 degrees. I left at 2:00 pm. I fished with small grubs in chartreuse and also white. I fished in 2 to 10 feet of water. I tried casting and flat line trolling. I saw some spider trolling rigs fishing in 14 to 18 foot depths in a creek channel. I caught 2 bass, 1 stripe, zero crappie.
