Default Two lakes-Two Fish. And ALOT of Gas.

    :o
Well another day in the exciting life! Well the day started up, pulling up to put in the Coosa. About 10 miles south of Logan Martin Dam(north end of lay lake). And the river was ripping.... 3 #%^&* turbines.. I called last nite. It said they were running 1 from 5am-9am. PERFECT CONDITION!! Well I fish it enough to know as soon as i pulled up it, it was 3 runnin. Called recording again... NOW it says running 3 from 5am to 3pm. If your not familiar with this water.. The fish are VERRRRRRRY scattered in that much current.

Soooo We get the BRIGHT idea to run down to Martin and put in. That we did. Trolled a few looking for BIG Stripe. Hit the occasional tree top for Crappie. Tried Live Shad,Umbrella rigs, Jigs, Bucktails, Sassy Shad, Spoons. Through them every thing but the Rod and reel itself...
Was barely able to get the SKUNK out of the boat with one small white bass, and a 2 pound spot. Missed 2...

We had Feeding fish on the graph all day.. They were not feeding on ours though.

Im Sho Glad a BAD day fishing is Better than a good day at work.

sometimes it is just that way. Just be glad daylight is later or you coulda been launching before the 3 came online.. you had the option of moving to another lake.

atleast ya got your boat wet and had a day on the water..
