You guys are making me jealous! We are completely froze up here in Indiana. We have probably have 8" of snow on the ground....Booo I hate cold weather.
Congrats on the great catch.
Awesome pics Bama!! Looks like a couple of awesome trips you had there. I know what you mean , I've considered quitting submitting posts on the bama forum myself because no one else seems to submit much of anything these days. I feel like I'm just posting for the lurkers out there who aren't willing to post about their own fishing successes. I guess some people are afraid that someone is going to find out about their honeyhole, or go catch all the crappie out of their lakes or something..lol Who knows. The main forum is still good though with lots of daily posts.

Went to Lake Harding yesterday and caught around 100 stripes and hybirds. Had 13 nice crappies, 9 catfish, and 2 spots. Had a great day. Even saw some snow. I was jigging spoons and dropping minnows in 43 to48 feet of water.
I've only fished Wheeler a few times for crappie. I don't understand the whole Honey Hole / catch all the crappie mentality. The local baitshops have usually given me my best information, even if I only caught a few non keepers. Share my brothers! The youngun's will never learn the necessary skills to pass on the fishing heritage if we hoard the knowledge. Ok I'll get off my soap box now and vow to pass on at least one of the locations of the next batch of structure I put out (if it is still legal). LOL and take a kid fishing!

Shut up and FISH!
Good looking
Some people here have not had the opportunity to to go fishing, and therefore we have no information to post. Consider it a blessing if you have the chance to go. When we get a chance to go we will post about our experiences, until then we will take waht few minutes we have and comment on other posts or talk a little football or whatever. It would be nice if we all had the time to go fishing so that we could post about it.
I heard a good report from a couple of Ga. Boys who fished Weiss Tue. and wound up with 37 keepers. I saw the picture of the fish on his cell phone and they were awesome. No info on lake locations or methods. BB
Nice catch and some fine eating as well. Recently moved here to the great state of Alabama and Madison County. I wondered just how late into the winter you can still catch crappie around the causeways and bridges on Gville? Don't stop posting your pics it is a great way to motivate the kids to go fishing and what they can catch one day. Thanks for your effort!
Looks like some quality fish. Congrats.
