    Default Little Spring Creek??

I hear guys talk about little spring creek. Do they mean Little river on the north side of Weiss or Spring creek on the south side by cowan creek? Or is there a Little spring creek? Where is this? Just curious, I couldn't find it on my map. Thanks

Default Where is Little Spring Creek ?

Lauch at JR's and go to right - up Little River about 2 miles, follow channel markers, stay in channel and you will pass 1/4 mile long high rock wall on your right- channel gets close to rock wall- and then the channel makes a real quick left turn. Just past the turn you will notice big wide slew on right - this is Little Spring Creek. Water is only 7 to 2 ft deep - full of stumps. If the fish are there, the boats will be to, especially the guides.

Little River goes on up another mile or so towards the Cave Hole and Wolfe Creek split, then it gets to shallow to run. Hope this helps you find it..

Spring Creek is between Three Mile and Cowan creeks, Little Spring Creek is close to Jr's Marina - off the Little River. Two completely seperate creeks.
Take a Kid fishing, keep only enough to eat, and release the rest to spawn again. Pop

He always has seagulls around him. Sort of like the albatross that followed the pirate ships around:D:D

Default Little Spring Creek - Weiss

I just call Terry Whaley, Darryl Baker, Jason Tucker, or Kelly Mathews. They tell me where they are biting and I go the other way. These men will clean out a hot spot before I can get there, so I don't even try.

I use 2 different boats. If going by myself and/ or with my dog " Willie ", we use my little 16' Royal (blue and white) stick steering fiberglass boat. Works great for shooting docks, bottom bouncing, or casting a float and jig.

If we go long line trolling, or if fishing the main river, I take my 18 Stratos - deep walleye type boat. Big, wide, and heavy, also blue and white.

I will be the skinny old man in the boat. We'll, I was skinny as a kid, about 60 years ago. :D Hee Hee
