So I have become quite the little handyman lately. (well not little, about 235 lol) I have been doing a little bit of this and a little bit of that. I have been pressure washing, mowing, making projects, light remodeling, trim work, built a wheelchair ramp, etc. I do not really know how to price things. I try to be fair but I do not want to cut myself short for the hard work and time either. Is there a general rule on light construction type jobs such as pricing the job related to the cost of materials or anything like that? A lot of the jobs I have done the people actually paid me more than what I charged for the job. That tells me they think I did good work or I was a little too fair with my price, or a little bit of both. For example I built a W/C ramp for a guy and charged $175. He paid me $200. Here is a picture of it during the build process.
