This game goes to show the best team does not always win. I sure hope Stanford loses so we can get a rematch. 3 missed fieldgoals and a blocked field goal cost us a win, along with an interception call that i still dissagree with because the Bama player had the ball between both hands when his back was on the ground which should have ruled him down. A rematch is unlikely unless Stanford gets beat and Ok beats Ok state.
Bama was too predictable in those first few drives. They went to Richardson back to back and made big plays and LSU knew they were going back to him again and they stuffed it for a loss and put us in long field goal range. Same thing on the next drive, Lacy made a big play and LSU knew Bama would go to him again and they stuffed that one. Bama should have mixed those up a little. If we had a kicker nobody would even be questioning who the better team was. Anybody can say what they want, but Bama proved they had the better team, and this is another reason why I think we should have a playoff system.
