3rd pllace out of 19 boats fishing old school? Sounds like a winner to me! Congrats.
Josiah and myself did a tourney with the Richmond Crappie Club today and took a 3rd place win. 7 fish 7.40 lb bag weight. While this may not seem too impressive, consider this: 19 boats, 17 of which had foward facing sonar (livescope, mega imaging). I did not. Some really good fishermen coming from as far as nc to attend. Winning bag was 8.31. 2nd 7.98. But above all, i got to spend the day with my grandson. Double win.

Way to go Woodduck and youngin'...
That’s a great way to spend a day with a grandson. I have a hard time getting some of mine to get up early and go. But when they do it’s always fun. So far I’ve bought three lifetime Virginia fishing licenses for them when they turned 16. One hit the river with me last week for some brown fish. We had a blast.
