Well, Well, Well... Let the Excuses Begin... Talk about a Rough Day Crappie Fishing in Texas on 3-17-24!! Let's set the stage..
*Weather Man was WAY WRONG
*Raining that morning (Not in Forecast)
*Wind Forecast said nothing about 14mph+ with White Capp Water
*"They were Pulling Water + Wind", so Boat Control was a Night Mare
*2 Hours Drive 1 Way & I don't know the Lake *My LiveScope Pole Handle Fell in the Water on 1st Setup due to Wind rocking the boat so no LiveScope on the Pole TODAY!
*AT 12 Noon I only had 3. Was today the day I don't find 7 Crappie?
*Water was MUDDY As.. As.. As.. As... Well let's just say Chocolate
*I promised myself I would & could only use Green for St. Patrick Day
*Bet my buddy that I had to catch 15 or more that had to be 11inches of bigger
3-17-24 Was a Beating on Richland Chambers I throw in the towel on that lake if the wind is Double Digits. I'm not doing that again.

@Rojo Brother I would have bet a few thousand bucks that if 20 none pro Fisherman fished that lake in those conditions that 15 boats or more caught 15 or less Crappie. It was brutal man. Because my Boat is Green & it was St. Patrick Day was I able to dodge the Crappie Skunk Rojo.
No wind on the drop zone either!

@Buckeye I don't know what you mean by that but if it's on Crappie .Com it makes me smile or laugh. Glad we both are alive to type and read. I bet those guys knees are shot when they get older.

It means conditions on the drop zone are such that a jump is a “no go” but sarcastically said as if conditions are perfect…

GAWT- IT! That explains it then Buckeye. The Texas Meteorologist that did our weather report was an Ex-Para Trooper on a Vengeance Mission. When I was at the Boat Ramp the sign that 4 other boats were still in their Trucks while I was the only one that Launched should have told me to be be wary.
Nope!
