Here’s what 2 pounds of spoons look like with a value of about 1000 dollars. Going to be a lot of reviews going on

The spoons in the 2 gram and up category come with a ring. The spoons below that don’t have anything. I was just out in the shop putting snaps on about a dozen or so. If a spoon is fished correctly, meaning slow, you don’t need a swivel. Most folks fish them way too fast. As did I when I first used them. Chomping at the bit to get on the river. Weather and water release will be right sooner or later.

Very cool Randy.
When you get some time, I hope you’ll be able to post a video on how and when you fish these lures. Fishing spoons are a mystery to me. I never have any luck.

I hope to post many videos of fishing these spoons for trout, and probably some bluegill. My journey with spoons was started when I wanted to fish for trout at Normandy when the water was flowing faster than the 150 CFS. That number and below allowed me to catch tons of trout on a Trout Magnet. But once it hit over 200 CFS a Trout Magnet was pretty useless. I got to reading about spoons for trout and how to fish them. Ordered some spoons from Chris at Finesse Fishing. After losing 4 spoons on my first day I decided to get some cheap spoons off amazon and use until I learned what I was doing. Once I learned how to fish them and keep them off the bottom in current it was game on. I have used spoons out here quite a bit last year on the Little Red but did not make very many videos about it. They will almost catch as many trout as a Trout Magnet. But the reason I enjoy fishing for trout with them is you’re always on a tight line and the hit they give you is an adrenaline rush. Plus you can fish waters where a Trout Magnet just will not work. Hoping to get my boat back from shop soon and get fishing.

I am very excited Dave. As for pics, I have 4 models of their spoons in different weights. They sent every color in each series. I will get a few pics up but it will no way be representative of even one series. It took me a couple hours to get them sorted and on the peg board in ascending weights. While it may not look like it in the photo there are 280 spoons on the board. I had about 70 already. It will be interesting to try out their number system. While each spoon has a name for the color they also assign a number to a spoon. I thought it was just to have a number. Well it turns out they number the colors as to when they should be used. For instance number 1 and a few numbers up is for colors when trout are very active. The numbers at the end of the scale are when trout are not as active. Be interesting to see if their number scale works in the trout rivers here. They even sent suggestions on what lengths, types of rods, and what size line to use. Also how to fish the spoons as to what angle to hold the rod tip while retrieving. The Japanese are extremely technique specific for each specie of fish. Next week weather is supposed to be good to get out. Can’t wait.

Very very cool. That’s pretty cool with the numbering system. I’m curious if that works too. Your organization is second to none! Very neat. Thanks
