Good Post Bud, good memories too. The time spent is never lost but the time wasted is.
My FIL is exactly 20 years older than I, and I'll be 64 in July. Oh, I am expecting cards from y'all! Anyway, he is a crazy workhorse. The definition of Workaholic. He's had his shoulder replace, two knees replaced, and he's getting a hip replacement in about a week. Yet I can not keep up with him at all.
He was here a month, we poured 2 and a half pallets of concrete, removed the cap on a bass boat, and then removed the floor and it's foam, installed two new windows, plus a whole lot more. Watch the video, I go over everything.
And on top it all, we did a lot of fishing. Here's the fishing video if you have not already seen them.
Oh, here's the video of us removing the cap and you can see superman in action. lol
Just looks like a normal guy, right. The other guy is Tomtom, he's kinda the co-founder of the site fyi. We thought of getting the domain name while having a few cold beverages in my basement back in 1996!

Nice. We're celebrating my FIL's 83 B-Day today before the Chiefs Win.
He's one of my favorite people in the world, a great man! He still rides his Harley and his his 1977 Honda 750 SS he purchased brand new along with even dirt bikes.
He's MacGyver and can fix anything so I know how you feel Slab.

My step-father and fishing partner had his 90th birthday in December. He worked in the steel mills for 36 years then started an outboard shop. Hasn't retired yet. Other than a bypass 20 years ago no major sickness or health problems. His motto "If you stop you drop". I'm thinking he has figured something out.
