I researched this before buying a lithium battery. You take the amp draw of Livescope system time the amount of usage time you need to get AH size battery you need. Here is the numbers for my unit.
Garmin 93SV/livescope black box draw 2.8 amps. I needed my unit to run 6hrs at a time. 2.8 amps x 6 hrs = 16.8ah or more needed to run livescope for 6hrs. I purchased a 18ah Lithium battery.

Better not go too small. I use Amped Outdoors 32ah and it came with a charger . Runs my 1243xsv and black box for livescope all day .
Amped Outdoors provides a sizing chart on their website.
