Only had a space heater as I wasn't staying and woke to a killing frost. Serious artic front descended and everyone knows fish will have lockjaw. I drove over to lake to see how many were out fishing and conditions. No one out at all and big waves and white caps.

But you all know I can't possibly go home without at least wetting a line so I went to favorite spot and you guessed it. KABOOM HAPPENED! First drop didn't make it down and it was a good 10 incher. Then next drop another then another then another. Moved to another spot and BOOM another nice one after another till lost that jig and went to 2nd rod and my hands r freezing can't tie another on.

Finished limit as hands were numb and almost got blown into water. Really good size and fast action.

Another lesson that even artic fronts not only don't stop the bite sometimes they trigger it.
