Ouch! Thanks for the tip
Stupid yellow jackets out in force as I’m cleaning fish. Ask Slab, he witnessed me taking one to the upper lip 7-8 years ago at Enid. I promise you, it will make you lose your vision for awhile

Many, many years ago, in late October I drank a yellow jacket in the last drink of a beer. It stung me in the back of the throat on it's way down, where it didn't stay long. It was a Saturday and a couple of my buddies was at my house, one of them called a local doctor who met us at his office. I laid down in the back seat while they drove, by the time we got to the Dr's office I could barely breathe. It was like trying to breathe through a mixing straw they used in mixed drinks in bars. When we got there the Dr had a shot drawn up and everything to perform a tracheostomy, luckily, he didn't have to do it. After the shot I laid still and breathed as well as I could. After what seemed like an eternity, I could feel the constriction in my throat slowly lessening and my breaths came easier. When I could talk the doctor asked me if I was allergic to be stings, no, he said well you will be now and the older you get the worse it will get. He was right I have Benadryl in my vehicles, shop, the house and take it with me on trips, so far, I haven't needed an epi pin. I honestly believe if I was the type of person who panics I wouldn't have survived the ride to the doctor's office. Yellow jackets in you drink can lead to a very serious situation.
Dang scary story. Really going to pay attention to mine as well as my family’s drinks now. Glad you made it through and stayed calm.
Them yellow jackets ain’t no joke I am allergic to them also.
