    There are places in Ohio for a buck to live that long! Hoping he sees another year. Our bucks are hard chasing and very aggressive. Most intense pre-rut I can remember in 55 years of hunting. Not just our area, but reports from farm land 25 miles south also.

    Sk recorded a video the other day of 2 decent bucks trying to KILL each other on the bank at the lake near Houston ...
    they went at it in true death to ya bro fashion as well , it wasn't a playing around ticking horns type of thing ....

    I've killed 2 bucks rattling from the ground at this time of year. Rattled one in from 200 yards and shot it from the other side of a Christmas tree, about 6 yards with a recurve. The other one came in all bristled up, and I wondered if my recurve was enough weapon. Ended up shooting him at 30 yards as he circled the downfall I was sitting in. Exciting times. Wish I could get in the woods this week!
