He is a old crusty looking boar..Likely has a thick shield. All my stands are set up for bow hunting with most shots less than 20 yards.. a well placed head shot with one of my rifles would be my only choice for him.. I have a 450 bushmaster AR rifle, using 250 grain Hornady factory loads it does a good job on hogs.
I bet he couldn’t handle that ole 30-06 haha

From what Ketchn has said in the past that critter is too tough to eat. Probably be best to let him make new young tasty little pigs unless he was causing troubles

eating that pig is way past the limit for sure , he will not make the dinner table a fun visit for sure .
as far as making lil ones goes , best i can tell from the cams at our place that starts within the groups of them before they get big enough to even shoot at .....
