Recently I was on a popular forum that finally go to be too much due to lack of moderation of insulting replies to my posts. Moderation in nonexistent and I'm sure that many of the post contributors shake their heads wondering why. I finally had enough and deleted the content of my posts or erased my replies to the tune of over 200. I've never seen abuses by members on any other forum. Granted, opinions and beliefs vary when it comes to catching fish, but no one is all-knowing when it comes to waters outside one's state or locale.
Key for forums to work is the sharing of ideas without judgement of the ideas presented or the member that shares his or hers. Many forums are dead and not because of abuse, but because other foums are better designed. The one I am referring to has a lot of traffic and many great posts that share experiences and beliefs, so I'm not happy not sharing my insights with many of its members (accept by private message), but I won't be a target for ridicule which will never happen on crappie.com.
Newbies, appreciate this site and be open to trying the many ideas shared. You won't be sorry.
Love you guys and happy to post here!
