    Thanks Mike
Did you have to order the floats or they available at Bass pro or academy.
They are close to the house so that’s were I would check first.
    Thanks
    Chuck

Any bait store, Bass Pro Shop, Cabela's or Amazon has them. That tiny float will even support a two inch soft plastic minnow too. Here is that proof.

Your "bottom float rig" has been called a "floating lindy rig" for about 60 years. Probably easier to find one or components that way

    Hey Ship,
    What size are you using?
    Bobber a medium?
    Weight of jig?
Guess a person would have to have an assortment of bobber sizes.

    Kevin,
Research of bobber type you are right. Walleye fishing and pompano type rigging for surf fishing.
Might even work for my sauger fishing.

They work very well on saugers. Either slowly trolled, slowly retrieved, or just pumped in current. I use either a sinker on main line or a 3-way with them.

    Kevin,
Never sure around here if there will be a sauger season or not.
I think we had about 3-4 days that were fishable last year.
They keep the lower river here by the house way up or way down.
Very popular place when the water is right.
They raised the size limit to 14 inches and creel to 6 a few years ago.
That has deterred lots of out of town people from driving here to fish.
Striper season still draws a crowd.
Not uncommon for them to catch 10-15 pounders.
    Chuck.
