It is a shame
Yesterday, a friend of mine sent me a facebook post about catalytic converters being stolen at a ramp on Beaver lake. Natural Sidewalk is a remote location on the War Eagle arm of the lake and it is one that we use frequently. I have seen the Washington County sheriffs department deputies at the that location several times, I guess it wasn't often enough to deter the thieves. It sounds like we may have to change ramps when fishing that part of Beaver.

The guy who buys them advertises on the local Craigslist when and where to buy,,,that should be illegal,, he always puts on his listing in small print. “ no stolen converters”. Like that’s going to deter a kid who’s getting hundreds of dollars for a stolen converter from lying….it ought to be illegal for anyone to buy or sell them,
I am all for them being recycled. They need a way to be traced to back to the vehicle that they came from. Your fingerprint required to sell a converter for recycle.
