Update X2, first and most important Joyce is in Cardiac step-down unit. As I said before chest tube are out, catheter is out, she walked out 45-50 ft then back this morning. She's not asking for the heavy pain killers like she was. Yes she is asking for them, but no where as often as she was. She's on minimum oxygen, and maintaining between 96 and 98% saturation. I am so proud of the strides she is making.
Now for me. I was scheduled for cataract surgery on the 16th of Jan. but have to push that back till after the 7th of Feb. Won't have a date till this afternoon. Probably late afternoon. She,Joyce can't drive till then. That's what I have for now...oh yeah almost forgot. She'll be in Cardiac step-down for 3-5 days...that's what I got today folks.
Thank you one and all for the prayers, and encouraging comments, it means the world to us. Love you all.

Evening everyone, Today has been a great day in strides. Both physical therapy and rehab said Joyce can come home and does not need to go to in hospital rehab. Woohoo. They removed everything except the oxygen monitor on fer finger, the heart monitor connected to the chest tabs, and the oxygen tube that rests under her nose. She walked with physical therapy today twice for over 70 feet. She's able to get out of bed on he own and use the restroom and get back in bed unassisted. Hopefully the Dr says she can come home tomorrow, or maybe Sunday. Prayers my friends continue to be answered. She is getting stronger and stronger everyday. She made all the way through today on Tylenol, No heavy pain killers. Thank you ALL for the Payers. They are being Answered. The Crappie.Com family is just that, Family. A family that cares about family, and ya'all are the best.

Another Update, Just got home from the hospital, and it looks promising for her to come home sometime tomorrow. Dr came in this morning and asked for a couple tests, and asked about who would be at home to assist her. He said there was a great possibility she would be coming home tomorrow. She had walked close to 150 ft without oxygen prior to him coming in, and he was real pleased about that. WoooHooo...
