Not sensitive at all…..but the fun is off the charts. Designed to fish hard baits…..spoons…..spinners. The Japanese don’t use plastics to fish for trout….which is what the rod was designed for. I love using it on the 5 and 6 inch bluegill…..and while I don’t recommend it I have landed some large fish on it. Sooner or later I will run upon a day out here where the stocking truck has just dumped about 3000 trout. When I do I’ll pull out the Iprimi and have a ball. Would use it on the river now but been catching a lot of 12-16 inch trout and the big browns are starting to show up. Afraid that might not end well using the Iprimi. My new home is about 15 minutes away from a lake that has a lot of yellow bass and bluegill. Fully expect the Iprimi to serve me well there. Anxiously awaiting your fishing report.

Thanks Randy , since I just started playing around with hard baits , it should work on the little ones .
I had asked you once about your fiberglass rod as I was looking fo a nice fiberglass Ultralight. This should do .
