I'm a longliner, and I still longline while using livescope. All I did was add a bit of weigh, and pulled my line in a little, so that I could see them more easily on the livescope. So now I'm a medium liner! lol
We pulled and pushed last week with Captain Doug on KY lake and saw other boats spider rigging.

I Spyder rig usually, sometimes I pull 2-3 longlines depending on where I'm fishing. I don't have a livescope and honestly most of the lakes I fish u don't need it. It's the time of year they are about to start jumping in the boat lol

I got the Hummingbird Mega Live and am really enjoying learning to use it. Mostly use it while using a single pole but longlinning is still my favorite.

My internal motor runs too fast for me to ease around at 1/2 mph. I’ve settled on longlining and using a single pole.

I'd love to set up a nice spider rig, but my boat's just not cut out for it size-wise. That's going to change in the near future if I can talk the wife into it I would definitely still use my livescope, though. Nice fillets, btw! What lake you fishing over there?
