Aint fishing but might be interesting.
I caught a hog in the trap right around the time bow season opened and after a couple days there seem to be no more activity so I figured the hogs had moved on so I removed the trap from in front of my deer stand.
WRONG!!!!
So....after a couple more night of seeing them on camera every night I had nothing else to do but put the trap back pout. So last Thursday I got the trap set. I cut the corn spinners off so the hogs would have nothing to eat except for the corn inside the trap.
My son-in-law, daughter, and grandbaby came in late yesterday evening so I had hoped the hogs wouldnt go in the trap the first night (like they usually dont) and just maybe we'd catch a hog either Saturday or Sunday morning. Nate's a city boy through and through. He married into a hunting/fishing family and my daughter loves it all too. Theyre great together but he has a bit to learn in the country atmosphere, if you know what I mean.
Friday morning I checked the trap....nothing. (GOOD!!) So this morning I got out early, rode the 4 wheeler over to see if anything was caught. Man! Was I surprised!! Ive seen a couple in the trap together on camera but never caught more than one at a time. It's not a corral trap...rather s small box trap. I just knew Nate would be surprised.
So I get back home, get the gun, hook up the trailer and off Nate and I go. Boy! Was he surprised........
Well, I know I mentioned hogs but instead they are just pigs weighing around 45 lbs apiece. I dispatched the first one with my .22 pistol and let Nate take care of the rest. I think the boy enjoyed himself.
Anyway, got 'em knocked in the head, got 'em home, cleaned and in the frig in the barn. Just maybe Nate learned a little bit today. I just got out of the shower and about ready for a "tottie" but wanted to share this with you guys. I wanna get set down to see the last half of the Ga/SC game. Here's the last pic of them with their britches on...
Tight lines!!!!!!!!

Dang, you got them rascal all at once. I'd like to have two or three for the pig cooker, but we don't have them at my club property yet and I'd have to buy them. Glad you are fixing your problem!

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!
