Very Nice Chaunc! Thanks for sharing
Decided to give Shenango a break this week and head across the line to Ohio and fish Mosquito lake. Saturday I tried a few of my tried and true spots for this time of year. Not there yet so I headed for the shallow brush. Not there yet either. Hit the shallow weeds, bingo. Put a couple nice crappies and a walleye in the box.
Went back Monday with my buddy Shawn and put a bunch of good size crappies and cats in the box.
Rain was predicted today for after one so me and Tim went early. We caught some huge crappies and more perch than I’ve ever caught there in my 45 years of fishing this lake. Tim even got a two pound crappie today. Rain chased us off the lake around 1:30 with a total of 41 keeper crappies gills and perch.
Very Nice Chaunc! Thanks for sharing

Nice size and mixed bag you got
Just letting you know that the spawn is on here. Lots of good fish being caught shallow. Me and Shawn put thirty two crappies and 25 gills in the box today. Crappies on BG baby shads and the gills on hand tied hair jigs and waxworm.
