First thing you do after a long week vacation? Crappie hunting. Happy to got this 13-14” slab right after came back from Cabo Trip.

Sunday late afternoon was the first annual, inaugural Arkansas, father daughter, pond fishing championship at my house!
The top 2 qualifiers were yours truly and my wonderful daughter (coincidentally we were the only 2 participants). We used my new scale that holds 8 weights. Mine on the top row and hers on bottom. In true fashion, upgrading your smallest weight with the next fish, only weighing your 4 best fish.
She won, fair and square do to quantity of good fish but got too excited taking pictures of me holding the winner of biggest fish and cropped my head off! So much for me being internet famous.
We spent a couple of hours and had a wonderful afternoon.
