I fished Limestone today, not much to report but stripe and catfish, LOL. I kept 4 and returned 7 that were larger than I wanted. Also, a dozen or so shorts. The water was 58 degrees and clear with visibility of about 12 to 18 inches. Limestone is about one foot down from full pool.
I did get to see one of the female Gators sunning today. I post a picture once I get them off my phone.

I'd planned to go to 8 mile, but the south wind scared me off!

How big you think
I'd say about 8 feet, but could be a couple feet longer. The end of the tail was curled out of sight and I didn't want to get too close and spook the beast. I got within a 100 feet but had a bad angle to see the length. I like have few around since they keep there distance whenever I've seen them in Limestone.
I see fried gator tail on the bank!
