Fishing braid ring. Wear it like a ring to easily cut braid.

A ring used to cut braid. I first saw something similar in the carpet tufting industry used to cut yarns.

Yeah I’m not cutting my line that often to justify wearing a ring. Lol. I’ll stick with my small wire cutters. Snips the braid fast and clean and I just leave on the deck next to me. That ring cutter looks big and bulky and would get in my way. Especially in the cold months when trying to keep hands warm.

The scissors on a swiss army knife cut braid pretty well. They have mini serrations that grab the line

I use braid on and off, sometimes I really like it and sometimes its a pain in the rump. You'll cast a 1/16 jig a country mile with 8 or 10lb braid, and the sensitivity when feeling a bite is like no other. But it has little to no stretch so you have to be real careful not to rip lips when setting the hook and fighting a fish, just lift the rod or start to reel faster to set the hook then let the fish play so it doesnt pull off.

Like already said, you need good scissors, knife, or something to cut it. I prefer rapala braid scissors myself, I have sets laying all over the place.

In the end, I just prefer to use good ol normal BPS crappie maxx 4lb hi-viz line for casting jigs.

Got a pair of these after reading this. You're right. They are awesome, and cheap. Got them on Amazon delivered for under $4.
