The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
spent the day ketchn these yesterday when the niece called and said her 7yo is into fishing and she wanted the family fishing dude to show him how. bought some worms to make sure he and my grandkids got to ketch something and boy they had a blast.
Ketchn thanked you for this post
I call them tail-peckers - little peckers for short. Best way I've found is to downsize my grubs to 1" in length. The little guys almost always get hooked. Much of the time though, for some reason, the little ones get hooked on 2" lures.

when we see them get down in the brush piles with the crappie we know it is about to be fall , they start going deeper when the sun starts to lessen in these parts , wont be long before they are sitting on the bottom here

get the UL outfit going with the trout magnets and have a ball I tell ya! they go crazy and it's fun and nothing wrong with that and you get the bonus bigger crappie in there as well.
