Haha sorry didn’t mean to get your thread locked up!
Going to try this again. I try to follow the rules so please note that these are not for sale at this time. In May I'll post on the Sponsor Classified but am looking for advise and suggestions to help in the planning process.
I want your honest opinions if you think there will be a market.
Advice or comments on color combos.
Anything that you think I can do better.
Have decided to practice two styles and may add more as I go but because we live in St Lucia most of the year I have to ship things in a barrel before we leave so after that I can't get more material.

No problem. I understand that this rule is necessary to keep things orderly. Really hope to hear form everyone as am excite to have something to do this winter. Trying to make them as uniform as possible. That's tricky. Some of you guys have been tying for years and any tips would be appreciated. Also am wanting to do something a bit different. Love this transparent flash I found. Hoping it will set my stuff apart. I know the fish like it.
The smallmouth would really like those ties
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
I like the blue and white. Only time will tell as you get them into people's hands and they try them. Any time you can make local sales you can avoid shipping headaches. Good luck.
Well If your after crappie to catch there are a lot of color combos that are good, but not all lakes are equal in clarity, temps, structure, etc, etc.
When I tie a thread neck style jig I almost always use Red thread, but use what you like as long as fishermen and the fish like it too.
Your pictures are not close up enough for me to really get a good close look.
The one thing I will add is I hope you don't mind working for cheap when doing that, lol!

I was in a jig tying contest many years ago where we had to tie 24 identical jigs and it is difficult for me. I probably tied 50 to get my 24. Practice, practice, practice. I felt that it is mostly important for sales and the fish don't care. If you are going into production just practice a lot. Get fast and efficient. And as Skip said, working on the cheap is in your future.

Thanks for the advice. Cheap is ok with me. The government already pays me for being old so anything I make is a bonus. And I have nothing to do anyways. We spend 10 months a year in St Lucia and you can only go to the beach so many times. Fishing is tough since I don't have a boat there I get tired of staring at the ocean all day. So doing something I enjoy and making a few bucks....don't get any better than that.
I think they look good

Good work and good color choices from what I see. Have fun with it.
