Hey, that’s really great news. Glad you got out for a session and good support at home! Enjoy dinner!

Started my physical therapy yesterday, sort of. Had my evaluation anyway and got the apointments set up. But got the boot off too. So I thought I would go try the bridge area where I could be on level ground and have an outdoor chair where I could set up a chair so I could sit and take a break if necessary. Didn't come to that. I stayed maybe an hour and 15 minutes. Fish were not cooperating very well. I did manage a couple though, which made momma happy. I managed a white bass and a nice sized crappie.
Momma had called and was yammering with here when the bass hit my jig like a freight train. Got it in and made the comment I was going to throw it back and she not so politely told me I better bring it home. So I did. Not my kind of fish but she said she would so its what's for dinner tomorrow along with the crappie.Attachment 406498

Glad you got out Eric! I am in the process of winterizing the boat and prepping things around the house in preparation for my two major operations in the September and December. I hope to get back out on the water by April next year God willing.

I haven't gotten mine out yet. Was really hoping to get the front deck in place this year, but with the ankle and knee, then the covid mess, I haven't been able to do anything to it. Might end up getting a trolling motor that clamps on the stern till I can get the deck done, and wiring ran for the electric up front. once it starts getting cold, all I can do it wait. Would like to get at least a tent type garage where I can run some heat into it and be out of the weather, and then I can get it done...Just one of them things.
BuckeyeCrappie, I'll be praying for you for sure.

Glad to hear you got to go wet a line

Progress is a good thing. Glad to hear that you’re able to go and get a few. I have a light jump suit that I used when it got cold with whatever layers the day needed. Most times a long sleeve t shirt and a sweatshirt underneath was all that was needed down to about 50*. I was in a garage but the door was open most all the time, back door too for drafting when pouring lead. Not a chance I could wait for better weather to get out a d do something. Hope you get the deck done soon. Around here we call projects like that UFO’s, un finished objects. I try not to let them pile up. Stay on the mend and be careful.

Skeet, this past winter it stayed at 20 degrees or below for a month or so. I didn't matter how I dressed or how many layers, I was cold. I have an insulated suit rated to 20 degrees I put on and was cold. when it gets cold, it's like jack hammers are pounding in my ankle, knee and lower back. Unfortunately, momma likes the cold and can't take the heat...she has the A/C set at sixty and at night I'm burried under the blankets while she's on top of them saying she's hot...BRRRRR!!!!!
