These crappie were hanging 24' down in 75' of water. These were all bait fish, no lures used. A meal worm threaded on a 1/64 jig head with a 3/0 split shot a foot above was the best. Dropping it down below the fish and coming up super slow through them brought an almost imperceptible bite that sometimes turned into a fish. So much fun and a great break from all the catfishing I've been doing.

That’s a good mess of fish, the freezer looks better now. I use the Bobby Garland Itty Bitty slab slayers a lot and believe the profile is close to a maggot or waxie or mealworm. Some day they eat them with reckless abandon. So much fun with such a tiny piece of plastic.
