    Reel is on the way. I started with a 300 myself, but when I got into Tx Bass fishing in the 80's I started flipping the bail by hand to stop line twist. It's a habit I do till this day crappie fishing. For those that know the 300 (just like the old Zebco Cardinal 4 - had those too) you have to wind the handle to flip the bail, no doing it by hand. I don't "collect" things that I don't use. Figured her uncle would appreciate it going to someone who would appreciate it. It is over 50 years old. Pretty sure it is a 1968 reel. Hope you get it cleaned and running smooth.
