There are worst things than this. Although I do miss saltwater fishing.
delay to my normal saltwater-switchover that religiously "used to" happen around tax day(April 15). Haven't been saltwater fishing since a trip or two in Feb. Achieving my '21 pb today could easily be my answer- L/l'g with gifted trip for friend with recent, unfortunate health diagnosis. Being a transplant from Massachusetts and a boat-less, fish-from-shore bass angler, he marveled @multiple L/l'g capabilities! He had a blast with the 3 species sought & caught. Early, intermittent clouds/low winds, proved to be quite the schoolie "tool" with ultralights! Enjoy the pics-

Those are some good fish there! Looks like your guest was enjoying the trip as well. I’ve had the salty itch lately too but can’t decide where to go. Might pull the trigger for a top water trip one day real soon though.
