I apologize for the multiple pics, I was trying to figure out how to upload a photo, apparently I did it several ways without realizing.
G'morning guys, Im new here on the forum and a first time boat owner (purchased mid summer 2020) My son and I would like to try our hand at fishing with a spider rig. I was wondering if any one here has experience with the 8 pack rod holders steel or plastic ones on ebay. they are both cheap enough, or if someone could steer me towards a better set up without breaking the bank. thanks!

You can get the same holders at Walmart. They are 4.99 each and won't have to wait on shipping.just FYI, the threads are metric if you plan on making a t bar with them. This is a diy version I made using those. I've got maybe 40 bucks in it but I ended up making 2.

Maybe worth going to the store and looking sometimes the inventory is off on the Walmart website for your location. When I built mine I went to the store and bought eight off the shelf. As far as mounting them, I made my t-bar from 3/4 EMT conduit and the clamps are 3/4x3/8 pipe hangers from Lowe's. Threading them will be a little tight due to the rod holders being metric and the pipe hangers are standard thread.

Hi Teks aren’t cheap but I’m at 12 years with mine and no issues, great product. Base plates can be Putin different places around the boat for trolling and so on. Watch the classified ads for them, you get lucky sometimes. Mine don’t turn and don’t let the rods turn either. Extreme models are what I have.

Mellinium marine for pictures first.
Then go to sponsors add and order from Gene.
Listed as EZ Poler. He will save you money and ships free.
I’ve tried most of the others out there and ended up with ALL Mellinium everything.
Of course I’ve custom fit them to my application cutting them down to my needs.
You won’t be disappointed with anything you get from them.
Chuck.
