    Can you elaborate on this please? I don’t use any type of glue/sealant but am interested.

    Yes I bought a qt of High Gloss Clear Lacquer and a qt of MEK about 12-14 years ago and I mix that like 50/50ish, I don't measure it. I mix it in one of the little bottles with a metal tip to apply it. When I finish a jig I just put a drop or so right at the head where I finished and it soaks in and dries super fast and it is so thin that most of the thread base will also get plenty from that drop.

    Anyway I still probably have 1/3 of each qt left. I am sure it cost a lot less than all the little bottles of glue would cost and that kind of glue always leaves a hard spot and mine will not leave anything to tell it was glued.
