Any way to make the windshield removable? Or cut down the 3" needed?
my garage door height is 84" and the boat windshield frame is 87", at the lowest the tongue jack will go down.
I replaced the tongue jack wheel with the smallest on I could find and it gained my about 1 inch - still need to drop the tongue by a 2" or 2.5"
I could deflate the tires but that would be a pain in the $%^ each time to get the boat out.
Boat is way to heavy to put the trailer tongue on the floor and push it into the garage then lift it up to engage the tongue jack.
The next option is a long drop hitch but I don't know if that will gain me much...
Any ideas?

Can you get a trailer dolly that would let you lower the tongue more, or something on a floor jack that could drop it down lower than the jack?
Can the bunks be lowered? Then can the bunks boards be replaced with thinner starboard?

Some GREAT ideas thanks..... Raise the header might work but I would need a 8" garage door $$$ - the floor jack idea is interesting will have to give it a try first - windshield cant be removed and I would hate to grind or cut on a 50K boat.
Thanks for all the ideas...
get a longer drop hitch & swap from your regular tow bar when you get to the garage.
Use a floor jack
Hey that's a great point. Is it possible to just move the garage door rails up and install a panel.
