Sounds like a good (and HOT!) day. Congrats.
Well since the Captain didn't post, I'll hit the high spots.
My aerator died, the we tried Ron's it didn't work till he smacked a good one. The bait was safe. Perch were scares as hen's teeth, we hit about every spot on Wylie that ever had a Perch caught.
I had the idea we'd quit when it got hot, but captain Blye had another idea. We fished and fished, by the end of the day I looked look
Like a lobster fresh out of the cook pot.
We caught Perch, Crappie, Catfish and Large Mouth Bass.
I gotta say once again I had a great day on the water with with Captain Bigdwagg.
Thanks Ron for the day and friendship
Water temps were mid 90's, fish were in 20-30feet. Tight lines with dieing minnows, the 20 plus fish were donated
Sounds like a good (and HOT!) day. Congrats.
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
Sorry! I wasn't going to excite the perch fishermen on the trip. Count was 24 perch, 1 crappie kept and several throw backs, 1 blue gill, 1 bass and a catfish. LOL I ask Ms. Sandy to take and send a picture from her phone but I guess she forgot to. It was fun MTHook and we will do it again after you get though peeling all that dead skin off. I think we should stick to night fishing until the fall. Things did start off rocky but conversations and cool bottles of water kept us out for the fun and sport of fishing. For those who need your boat cleaned while fishing just ask MTHook to join you and he will get all the hooks and lead off the bottom of your boat. Thank you Grady for going with me and keeping me company, I truly would be bored staying home with nothing to do.
SeaRay thanked you for this post
