Not since I was touring with the Stones.

Ours is a unique anchoring system. We are poor people so we are forced to adapt. In the morning I fish shallow water and my wife gets out and holds the boat. After lunch we switch. If I fish alone I bring a river anchor. What Type of Anchor Do You Have on Your Boat?

With spot lock on the front and a talon on the rear I don't use it much, but this is what I sometimes use in deep water...

Seven times (water depth + height of deck off the water)

So for one foot of water you need seven foot of anchor line. I used to fish in Lake Erie and never had a problem setting my anchor. My anchor lines I use are 200' and 250' long
