I fish out of one every spring when water is high and also use it in small lakes or ponds. Very convenient and weighs about 100# so I can load and unload it by myself. I got the 8' sun dolphin from Home Depot actually. $500 free shipping, added a 2.5 Suzuki and pushes it at about 6 or 7 mph which is fine by me. 30# trolling motor and battery works well. The seats leave a bit to be desired though.
