Decided to saute rest of yesterday ketch and man is that so easy and delicious. If you have picky eaters who arnt crazy about fried and hate smell and mess this is the ticket. Cut up shrooms, shallots, peppers, garlic and celery in olive oil and butter put vegetables in first as filets are done fast. My wife eats like a bird till I saute trout or crappie then she goes for seconds!

Its what's for dinner. Took plate to our older wonderful neighbor who is really avoiding going out and she cried when I brought it. Called later to rave about best fish she ever had.Name: 20200404_180504.jpg

Thanks for sharing with your neighbor, and your report!
If we did what was most important in life there
would be a shortage of Bibles.................and fishing poles

We did sprinkle it with parmesean cheese and that really kicks it up even another notch. It was delicious. U can use whatever veggies you like. mac likes his leeks on his, supersized shallots!!

It's similar to the baked catfish I posted couple days ago but better. That had spinach on top.

We fried up a bunch of crappie friday night that my buddy caught day before and I cleaned and cooked and he and his wife came up and we kept a safe distance apart used paper plates and didn't use cutlery, viking style meal nice visit. had my neighbor who had been tested and quarantined for couple weeks and is single guy stop by and I gave him a plate of fresh crappie and he really enjoyed the fish and a little conversation. Negative BTW on testing. Only person I know that had any symptoms and was tested. Turned out was just a cold.

I have a few more bags for some folks who love it but don't get out fishing anymore.
