    Mo...,
What end of big Alabama? Would you agree that it is one of the most beautiful places to fish around here?
That looks like a new evinrude...; I looked at them real hard before I bought my last motor! I was very impressed with the features. How do you like it?
The wild hogs have really taken a toll on the turkey population in the spillway! They used to be everywhere!!!
    Nice catch!

    Thanks Mo...I’d b glad to!
Big and Lil Alabama bring back some great memories...way before the state and feds came in and bought everything now known as the “shurburne wildlife management area”! My grandfather had a camp where big and lil Alabama meet from the mid 70’s till 1996 that we hunted and fished out of! One of those every weekend get aways..!!!
But you are so right...it just doesn’t seem to hold many sac-a-lait...or bass!
I have an uncle who lived there as a boy and says they used to catch fresh water shrimp somewhere in that area...probably the in atchafalia River.
