Just curious did anybody who ordered the reel before from this seller pay taxes? Even with the taxes I paid the deal is still cheaper than the others.

    Thanks
I didnt pay any tax. I ordered a total of 6 with 2 different shipments. Did you pay a state sales tax....or a Japanese tax?

    Hello,

It just says $15.01 USD TAX.

I Ordered it from Japanese_fishing_gear. They seem to have fast shipping.

    Thanks

Did a quick Google search on NC internet sales tax and found this...” A new law on the books says that whenever you shop online you will now have to pay sales tax. A sales tax of at least 6.75 percent will be in effect for most of the region. Lawmakers have been able to do this because of a recent Supreme Court ruling in the summer that says states can charge online sales tax.”

Maybe some of the other NC residents will chime in. I did not pay any tax in TN when I ordered mine from that seller.

I did the same thing and figure that is the tax he paid.

    Hello,

Thanks guys. I bet that is it. It figures my state would be the one to stick me first. I have not ordered from eBay in a while.

    Thanks.

The seller has to collect sales tax ONLY if it sells more than $100,000 worth of stuff in NC, or if it has more than 200 sales in NC.

The solution is simple. Buy from a small shop.

Finesse-Fishing.com is small enough that it is not required to charge sales tax in any state other than NY.

+1 to support the small shops. You meet a lot of great dedicated owners. Chris is certainly one of them, and worth giving your business to.
