I’ve got a battery powered Bubba Filet Knife came with a variety of blades and has worked really well.

If you have a public fish cleaning table nearby go and hang out for awhile after the boats start coming in. You'll see that not everybody's idea of a good fillet is the same. Pick the person doing the best job and ask him (or her) about knives.

My Bubba corded stripped out after less than a year. I'll have to send it in. Plastic gears? Not happy - avoid.

I’ve used a Mister Twister for years. One at home, one in the boat for cleaning tables. Have had bot for 10 years. They are like the energizer bunny- they just keep on going. Fits my hand well also. At any rate, I’m sure others are just as reliable. It’s what you get used to. My “Pop” used a butcher knife.

American Angler. Spend the extra 20 bucks or so and buy the titanium blades. Bass pro/Cabelas carries them

A few years back I got a new American Angler 12 volt for $10 at an auction. I'm still trying to wear it out.

I use the American Angler with the shark blades. It is 25 years old. I have cleaned many, many fish with it.
